Our Philosophy
We believe that urban life unfolds at street level. Our approach goes beyond architectural blueprints and statistical models, diving deep into the everyday lived experience of our cities. We see streets not merely as physical infrastructure but as dynamic, evolving stories of culture, community, and human connection.
We call this streetology.
Our Team
Streetology.Institute was founded by Reuben Ross, a British-American visual anthropologist and photographer based in Valencia, Spain. He is joined by a diverse team of artists, scholars, and activists, each offering a unique perspective on the intricacies of urban life.
